Companion 5th Wheel Hitch (Model #3000)
The B&W Companion RV 5th Wheel Hitch is available as an accessory to the B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch continuing the B&W tradition of 'a hitch when you need it, a level bed when you don't.'
The Companion can be easily installed and removed from the bed in minutes, leaving a flat, unobstructed bed floor. It has an 18,000 lbs. towing capacity, front to back pivot on vibration reducing polyurethane
bushings (patent pending), side to side pivot that is hydraulically controlled (patent pending), and a very heavy duty cam actuated latching mechanism that works easily every time.

The unique feature of the B&W Companion is its original cam-action latching mechanism combined with a gas-charged shock absorber.
The latching mechanism is designed to be effortless. The shock allows the head to pivot a full 7 degrees right and left (Patent Pending) helping to prevent side-to-side binding.
The shock also holds the head level for easier hook-ups. The locking jaws are a full 1 1/8 thick, providing a worry-free hook-up. Vibration dampening polyurethane bushings act as the base for the front to back
pivot of the unique saddle assembly of the coupler. The Companion has 3 front-to-back and 3 up-to-down adjustment settings, so the weight is exactly where you need it and adapts to any truck you choose. Non-marring
pads protect the bed of your truck from direct metal-to-metal contact.
The final remarkable feature of the Companion is its sleek, yet rugged design features. The hitch looks like it belongs in the bed of your truck, ready to work.
Companion Flatbed 5th Wheel Hitch (Model #3050)
The Companion Flatbed RV 5th Wheel Hitch has a tow rating of 22,000 lbs. GVW. Due to the height of the bed floor and hitch requirements, the Companion Flatbed Model does not utilize the lateral shock
absorbers. It has a much more compact base, with a fixed hitch height. The installation of the hitch is quick and simple. It attaches to the bed utilizing the socket of the Turnover Ball Hitch.
The release pin pulled out and the post below the base is inserted into the socket. The release pin is then moved back into the locked position. The snug bolt has been designed with an internal mechanism
that the release pin goes through to secure the post. The snug bolt is tightened, which pulls the padded hitch base down against the bed floor. The head assembly is then placed down on the pivot arms until
the head assembly is latched. Release the hitch coupler handle to connect your trailer. After connection, lock the handle back and install the locking pin and you are ready to go.
